Application and dosing

The basic rule for field crops: 0.2–0.6 litres of ProtoHumiX® per 1 hectare, dissolved in 200–300 litres of water (0.1–0.2% concentration). The governing quantity here is the concentration, and the per-hectare dose is derived from it — which is why crops requiring more working fluid (orchards, vineyards) end up with a higher per-hectare dose at the very same concentration. Where the solution concentration is decisive (seed dressings, microgreens, fertigation, soil applications) — values are given in the second table.

Applications requiring a specific concentration

ApplicationConcentration / doseNotes
Seed dressing0.3 l / 1000 kg of seedsSoak for 5–6 hours or mechanical dressing
Tuber dressing (potato)300–400 ml / 1000 kg of tubersBefore planting
Seed dressing (hemp, flax, tobacco)90–100 ml / 100 kg of seedsPlus foliar spray 0.2–0.6 l/ha at 3–4 leaves stage
Microgreens1–2 l / 1000 l of water (0.1–0.2%)Spray seeds and sprouts, repeat every 48 hours
Fertigation (root zone)3.3 l / 1000 l of water (0.33%)1–2 times a month
Soil application (between harvest and sowing)6.7 l / 1000 l of water (0.67%)Once a month
Soil drench — vineyards, orchards3.3 l / 1000 l of waterDirectly to the root zone
Soil drench — oil trees3.3–4.0 l / 1000 l of waterDirectly to the root zone

No per-hectare dose is given here, because the water volume follows from the technology (seed treater, drip system, tank), not from the field area. For soil application what counts is the amount of product delivered per hectare — calculate it as the concentration times the volume of solution actually applied on that hectare.

The product can be mixed with many plant protection products — the user is responsible for testing the mixture before use. Add ProtoHumiX® to the tank last.

Storage and shelf life

  • Range in which the product retains its properties: -20°C to +40°C. Recommended storage: 0–30°C, in the original, tightly closed packaging, away from direct sunlight. The product freezes below 0°C — after thawing and mixing it retains its usable properties.
  • Shelf life: 36 months from the production date. Batch number and production date are on the packaging.

Frequently asked questions

How long does delivery take?

Orders in stock usually ship within 1–2 business days. Courier delivery in Poland takes a further 1–2 business days.

How should I store ProtoHumiX®?

Keep the product in a tightly closed container, above freezing, away from direct sunlight. See the "Storage" section below for details.

Can I order more than 200 units?

Yes — orders above 200 pcs and IBC 1000 l containers are priced individually. Contact us via the form and tell us the quantity you need.

Does the product have the certificates required in the EU?

Yes. Both products carry a CE certificate under EU Regulation 2019/1009 (biostimulant PFC 6(B) / soil improver PFC 3(B)). See the full list on the "Certificates" page.

What's the difference between PFC 6(B) and PFC 3(B)?

PFC 6(B) is a foliar biostimulant applied to plants — it improves nutrient uptake and stress resistance. PFC 3(B) is a soil improver applied to the soil — it permanently improves soil structure and water retention.
