How it works

Under stress conditions

Drought, cold, salinity, stress after a herbicide.

The description concerns humic acids as a class of substances; the product's CE declarations are the specifications of the PFC 3(B) and PFC 6(B) certificates.

Key parameters

The production process includes extraction and multi-stage purification aimed at obtaining a material with a high content of functional fractions. Key parameters of ProtoHumiX® are maintained in stable ranges — each batch undergoes quality control.

High degree of purification

Multi-stage molecular-level purification removes inactive fractions and undesirable admixtures. Quality control limits heavy metals and contaminants, supporting safety and repeatability.

Bioavailability

A large part of the ingredients is active and water-soluble, so it can act quickly in the application environment. Quality and activity of the fractions matter more for effectiveness than their quantity.

Full solubility

The product dissolves without sediment — it does not clog filters or nozzles in spraying and fertigation. Facilitates preparation of the working fluid and stable operation of installations.

Application economics

High concentration of active fractions allows achieving the effect at a lower dose, reducing the cost per hectare and simplifying logistics.

Applications

Humic acids beyond agriculture

This is not a use of ProtoHumiX®. Our product is a CE fertiliser and carries no health claim — neither for humans nor for animals.
Humic substances are studied outside agriculture too, because they bind metal ions into complexes — a chemical property described in the scientific literature. How strongly depends on the pH and on the kind of metal.
Work on animal models and cell systems describes the conditions of its own experiment; its results are not transferred to humans.
Each such statement needs its own citation and its own experimental conditions.

Animal husbandry

Feed material 13.10.2 (Regulation (EU) No 68/2013): a natural source of humic substances in the daily ration
The only function declared on the label: supports the proper functioning of the digestive tract
Humic acids bind metal ions — a chemical property of the substance, described in the scientific literature. Whether, and to what extent, this happens in an animal's digestive tract requires further research

Compliance with EU requirements for biostimulants (EU) 2019/1009

The product meets the quality and safety requirements for plant biostimulants set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/1009. Its parameters and market introduction are conducted within EU standards: with emphasis on safety of use, quality control and reliability of declarations.

Compliance with organic farming principles (EU) 2018/848

The product complies with the organic production principles set out in Regulation (EU) 2018/848, which defines the framework for organic farming in the European Union. For the user, this means that the product can be used in organic farming practice in line with its principles.

Humic acids in Annex II (EU) 2021/1165

Humic and fulvic acids are listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2021/1165; the product appears on the IUNG-PIB list under No SE/132/2025. For the customer, this is a clear signal that the product fits within the EU framework of admissions for organic farming and can be taken into account when planning the crop production technology.
