Extraction without changing the form
In the deposit, humic acids occur in acid form. A patented mechanochemical process carries them into the extract in that form.
- Purity
- Cadmium <0.050 mg/kg
- <3.33% of the allowed limit (<1.5 mg/kg)
- Naturalness
- Controlled process
- designed to extract only the active substances, while keeping every available fraction
- Own process
- Patent EP3135655B1
- a patented variant of the mechanochemical process
Every batch is made under the same conditions, giving us repeatable extract quality and stable parameters.
What drives this process
- Water pre-purified and softened electrochemically
- Two mechanochemical reactors in sequence
- Controlled temperature and controlled energy
- A hydraulic pulse at a controlled frequency
- Automatic intensity control that protects the structure of the fractions
- Water saturated with OH⁻ ions before it meets the raw material
Regulation and control point to the same thing: not damaging the material. The raw material is not cooked, and the reactor never runs at a level where the structures this process is about get broken apart.
An acid with an alkaline reaction? Where does that pH come from without lye
The acid stays an acid, dissolved and available
Water enters the reactor physically prepared and saturated with OH⁻ ions — that is how the process gets its alkaline reaction. The reaction of the extract is given in the composition on the product page.
Reaction describes the solution; form describes what the substance is. The process is mechanochemical, and we call the extract an acid form, not a humate.
That leaves two things that decide what actually reaches the field.
Acid form, not a salt
The acid groups stay intact — the compounds are in the form they occur in in the deposit.
Free fractions, not bound
The acids are dissolved and available, not locked inside an insoluble ballast — the dose you measure out is the dose that acts.
Scope of the declaration
Two CE declarations: soil and plant
Two notified-body certificates, two separate scopes. The Soil improver PFC 3(B) has seven items in its specification; the plant biostimulant PFC 6(B) — one sentence. Both certificates were issued by PCBC in Polish and in English; the wording below is the issuer's English wording.
CE declaration · PFC 3(B) · CE-B/5/26/BS · soil
- increases soil fertility
- improves soil structure
- increases soil water capacity
- has a positive effect on humus-forming processes
- increases soil biological activity
- stabilizes pH and chemical buffering
- reduces the mobility of heavy metals and toxins
CE declaration · PFC 6(B) · CE-B/17/25/BS · plant
Quality traits: increased yield and accelerated plant growth.
For the biostimulant, Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 allows exactly four purposes — the list is closed, there is no fifth. As a substance, humic acids touch all four, and the literature describes this independently of us. Our certificate declares the one above; the other three remain outside it.
- outside the CE declarationEfficiency of nutrient use
- outside the CE declarationResistance to abiotic stress
- outside the CE declarationAvailability of nutrients from hard-to-reach forms
The distinction is deliberate. What the substance does in the plant is described by the literature independently of the manufacturer — that is knowledge about a class of compounds. What we are allowed to write on our own label is described by the certificate of a specific product.
Soil
What stays in the soil returns to the cycle
What stays behind in the soil after us — and in what fraction of the limit — is shown by the measurement.
- <0.050
- Cadmium in the extract [mg/kg]
- <3.33% of the allowed limit
- −20%
- Cadmium in maize grain
- contaminated soil, alongside +44% yield — Han 2023
The cadmium result comes from a field with contaminated soil. We do not extend it to overall yield gains, nor to other metals.
Documents
What this rests on
One document tells you how we manufacture. The rest tell you that you don't have to take our word for it.
- SDS
Safety data sheet, point 3
own document
Point 3 describes the extract as an aqueous solution of humic and fulvic acids obtained from brown coal by a physical (mechanochemical) process. This is the document we sign — and it, not marketing material, carries the claim about our process. (Our description of the Polish-language original; the document isn't published in English.)
